From Sept 19th to 22nd, join us as we celebrate a wide range of pottery and porcelain art during our 3-day Collectors Weekend and Auction.
You can see and bid on antique and vintage, hand painted sculpture, decor and pottery from museum collected artists including: Charles Noke, George Tinworth, Fred Moore, Hannah Barlow, Leslie Herradine, Daisy-Makeig-Jones, Mark V. Marshall, Dorothy Doughty, Frank Butler, and Robert Tabbenor.
Highlights of the auction happening on September 21st at 10am EST include a complete collection of American Bird and British Birds from Royal Worcester, museum-quality selections of Boehm and Connoisseur of Malvern porcelain sculptures, a variety of Royal Doulton art pottery including Lambeth stoneware, Vellum figures from the Burslem studio, Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre, as well as Art Deco figures from master designer Leslie Harradine, Royal Doulton and Coalport Advertising Figures, Cartoon Characters, Character Jugs, Loving Cups, and beloved Bunnykins.
You can also meet our expert guests from both sides of the Atlantic and learn about the special pieces offered for sale from our curated collections.
Among our special guests will be Michael Doulton, the 6th descendant of the Doulton family and the Brand Ambassador for the Royal Doulton Company. Mr. Doulton will be on hand to meet with collectors and sign your favorite pieces.
Christopher Evans – Author, historian and Royal Doulton expert based in England. Christopher will once again be taking guests on a tour of the showroom and auction discussing the many highlights to be purchased during the weekend.
Director and Curator of the Wiener Museum of Decorative Arts in Florida, Louise Irvine, a world-renowned ceramic expert, will be opening the WMODA for our guests and discussing the latest acquisitions and exhibits to the museum.
